Do I need to book my own flight?

Yes, you are responsible for the purchase of your round trip ticket. Please note your final destination is Salvador da Bahia, Brazil airport code SSA (NOT El Salvador).  The airport is Salvador-Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães International Airport.

Please plan to arrive by 5:00 PM on the first day and depart early afternoon to ensure that you can enjoy all the activities.

 

I am a solo traveler but would like to share a room, may I request a roommate?

Yes. When you register select  “match me with a roommate”. Once we match you with another solo traveler, we will connect you so you may begin to get to know one another leading up to the retreat.

 

My friend and I would like to share a room, how do we ensure we are roommates?

When you register select double occupancy and next to “requested roommate” write in the name of your roommate.

 

Do I need a visa to enter the country?

As of June 17, 2019, citizens of the United States of America, Australia, Canada and Japan will no longer need to apply for a  tourist visa. Individuals will be allowed to stay in the country up to 90 days.

Is the trip refundable?

The deposit is nonrefundable. If you need to cancel for any reason here is our refund policy:

  • Up to 90 days prior to departure 75% of your payment made will be refunded

  • Up to 60 days prior to departure 50% of your payment will be refunded

  • Cancellations made within 60 days of the retreat result in forfeit of 100 % of payment

All cancellations must be received in writing by 11:59 PM PST to be considered for receipt of that day.

May I travel early before the retreat or stay later after the retreat?

Yes, you are welcome to book your trip, so you arrive early and/or stay later. You are responsible for the planning and cost of this component. We will do our best to ensure you receive the best rates and service. Please let us know as soon as possible if you decide to add an additional component and would like our assistance.  

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, we highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance.

When purchasing travel insurance request the specific option “cancel for any reason”. This policy will cover you beyond the standard illness and weather delays of you and/or travel companion. Generally you will be refunded 75-100% of your prepaid cost.
